Jianbo Xiao and Jesús Simal Gándara were the only Highly Cited Researchers from SUG in 2022

This year, the University of Vigo has two researchers listed in the Highly Cited Researchers (HCRs) ranking by Clarivate, which in 2022 includes the top 6,938 most-cited researchers globally. Jianbo Xiao and Jesús Simal Gándara, both members of the AA1 Group of Agro-Environmental and Food Research, are featured: Xiao in the field of Agricultural Sciences and Simal Gándara in the Cross-Field or Multidisciplinary category. Luis Liz Marzán (CIC-biomaGUNE and UVigo) and Predrag Putnik (University North-Croatia and UVigo) are also listed. Xiao appears for the sixth time and Simal Gándara for the third. The University of Vigo maintains the same number of HCRs as last year.
